Crochet obsession continues

The tree is an ornament in progress for an ornament swap. I was quite excited at being able to make something three dimensional in crochet, so the bear was made, and I think he's quite fab. I like his cockamamie eyes, makes you wonder what he's up to.

My current obsession. Although it seems to change every month or so. I am currently taking a crocheting class where I am making what is turning out to be a very homely shawl. More on that tomorrow, I can't bring myself to accept that I've done a lot of work on it and will probably unravel it. But I suppose it's been a good learning experience...anyhoo...This baby blanket was one of the first things that I made. I just worked lots of double crochet and I actually think it turned out quite nice.

Here is my first attempt to write something everyday. Ack! I am honestly not much of a writer but wanted a place to take note of the projects I have been working on...so on with the blog. Let's see...what have I been working on lately? There was this attempt to carve a pumpkin with my husband, made more difficult by this little girl.

Went to the botanic garden and took my new digital camera for a test drive

And drew a picture of my husband on an etch a sketch
