The husband and I went to a farmers market this weekend. We have been trying to go the - buying locally - route. When we got home we made applesauce...more photos of that tomorrow. The husband was perplexed as to what these were.
I finished this blanket a few months ago, it's a great size for snuggling on the couch. I wove all the ends in at the end, which actually wasn't too terrible. This was my first granny square blanket! This is my (one of many) Works in Progress. I started this a few months ago, when I first learned to crochet and was less picky about my yarn choice. I have the intentions of making a large afghan, that would be easily washable, thus the partly acrylic yarn... which is part of my aversion to it. Those hexagons also take a long time to make as well. I am happy with the color choices as I think the black hexagons make the circles stand out nicely.
